That would be the Friday Night Bombing Runs.
I had an awesome pilot (almost as good as Bug), and we stayed alive almost the entire map. This was even after the time was extended TWICE (at 30 mins a pop!)
It was fun, and it got to the point where the server admin asked us to stop because we were totally dominating them. It was great!
Yes, there is still some fun to be had in Tribes2...

This was before killing a lot of people was popular. This is when I was still competing with the Templars. I figured this strat out five minutes before match time. I was able to keep their gens down (all of them), destroy everything in their main building and not move away from our base more than ten feet. I was able to thread that mortar within a foot of the doorway sliding it in hitting everything. I still have this demo somewhere but I am unable to view it because my T2 is corrupted and I needed a pre, last patch version in order to see them all. Those were the days. I think I have a small movie of it somewhere, a teammate of mine was able to get in the base and watch me rain mortars down on the base for the full time we played. I died maybe twice.
I remember when I played with you guys that I so wanted LD. When <T> put me in HO I was pissed, until I figured out I was so damn good at it. I missing HOing like that.
