Anyone ever buy anything from outpost.com?
I'm trying to find Grand Prix Legends at a retail location... but only one in the US that I've found was Fry's and they link to outpost.com. Have any of you bought from them? Can I trust them? (I still don't like buying things online.)

OK, I'm not shipping with DHL again. I just found out that Outpost.com ships out of Wilmington, OH. Ground shipping from Wilmington, OH to Cincinnati, OH (40 min drive on a bad day) through DHL cost me $6.14! For a game in a DVD case!!! I can drive to their shipping location for less than $3.00 in gasoline. And my car only does 28 mpg.
Don't mind me... I'm just grumpy because I paid for 2 day air (only $0.98 more than 5 day ground) for something that would never leave the ground.
Maybe DHL will make up for it by getting it here today instead of monday. I might be able to forgive them if they manage that.
oh, and looking at shipping times on the DHL site... they predict that ground will get there cheaper than 2nd day........

I'm with you Ice. With most every credit card with online fraud protection now, I don't worry too much, but I am still sure I'm doing business with a reputable company. I have no problems using newegg, or hp, or dell, or Amazon, etc. Hell, I even do a search on the BBB site to see if they're members, and do searches for the company if I've never used them before. I try to be as safe as I can be online, but I don't shy away from online commerce, I think it's a great thing. Even on Ebay.

What? Paranoid is bad??? Actually, something tends to go wrong everytime I buy online. (ex, I paid $0.98 more for shipping than I had to... and according to DHL, the cheaper std ground would have gotten here last Friday evening instead of next Monday for 2nd day!!! ... really, I paid more to have it delivered slower... DHL confuses me.)
