If I had 2 more monitors... I'd be all over that thing... that would be so cool to play BF2 and WoW on... Yummy.

yeah, but then your video card would have to pull 3840x1024x32! So you'd have to take a graphics hit for more FOV... but I still want it for racing sims. :P

You noticed in the article (you did read it? : ) ) that they insist on a high-powered system with a 7-series nvidia card?

I liked how they slammed ATI for lack of support. Not that I hate ATI, but things like this are what they should be slammed for. They're so close to nVidia on technical merit, but WAY behind on supporting users.

my system is plenty powerful, but to make it work I'd need to get another 6800Ultra to really make it go, I think. But I could handle turning down some of the settings to make that resolution work, at least until I could get my SLI setup up and running. :D I guess there really is a reson to use SLI now, eh?

The problem is, I have a computer that is far powerful enough to run three. But when I attempted two 21" it was a resource hog and I lost a lot of quality. Two moniters are no good as the center horizon is right in the middle fo two screens.

Three screens or more look real good, but will actually stretch the image as you can see with the triple screen shot and CS. The CT on the left is morphed on two screens...

I would have to get a vid card for each moniter just to make it work smoother.

Aside from embedding precious jewels into your PC case, or making enclosures by hand out of a single piece of wood, the most extravagent accessories you can sink money into are displays. 9X Media provide a mind-boggling array of multi-screen displays. They claim to offer combinations of up to 64 HD screens. According to their site, this will cost you upwards of $800,000.
