so I'm out from work for a week on doctor's orders.
I'm supposed to get an MRI here soon, but there's some insurance things going on. Worker's Comp vs. personal insurance stuff.
What's happening?
Screwed up my knee...

FINALLY, got the whole insurance thing figured out. I was starting to get very mad at the doctor's office because they wouldn't set me up for an MRI. But I kept pressing and called my insurance company, who said, "tell them to just use your personal insurance, and if there is a worker's comp claim we'll do things retroactively".
The whole thing is stupid because it will take my personnel office a few days to process the paperwork for the claim. The doctors were sounding like they wanted to wait for that. I'm in pain here! Hello? One of the LTs I work with got an earful when I moved my leg inadvertently while talking about work stuff over the phone. Heh.
Long story short, I got my MRI scheduled for tomorrow. The doctor today said it's either a sprain, or a tear in the miniscus. It's more likely that it's a sprain based on my history with my knees - as in there is none - and my athleticism. He also said that either way, I should be able to go back to an active lifestyle.
I'll get to catch up on some old posts though!
