Wow... (For sci-fi / fantasy novel fans out there)

Come in! Have a margarita or root beer? How about some fresh trout? :)

Apparently, Mr. Jordan may not get to finish the books that he has planned to write. He's got about two more books for the Wheel of Time series, maybe a few more. He's also written several Conan books, and if I read that correctly, he's got a couple other stories in mind to fill some books.

Just sad how you don't see these things coming....

That is why my new philosphy of life is to enjoy as much of it as I can.

Life really is too short to stress out and be angry. Suck it up and be mellow guys!

Love ya,
David

Bummer. I coulda told him to beat feet about 3 books back, but everyone else beat me to that.

Mellowness is good tho. My great uncle was diagnosed with prostate cancer about a dozen years ago. He's in his 90's now, and I would bet money it won't be the cancer that kills him, he's a pistol.

For a bit more recent news, here's a week-old blog entry:

The short version is they're done with the marrow stem cells and he's doing the chemo thing. And sleeping a lot. :)

Every time I go downtown, I look for him, but I haven't seen him yet.
