I love this comment: "It's Windows XP with a push-up bra, lip gloss and PMS"
Anyway, I have used it and it is pretty neat, supposedly it will be a gamers dream.
We shall see...

Oh...one thing that really stands out here is this statement in the article:
On the gaming side of things, the simple fact is that once DX10 based games start hitting the market, you are going to have to have Windows Vista to run them all easily. And DX10 looks to contain some very forward looking technology that will greatly enhance our gaming experiences once the game developers pick up and run with it.

Well, considering that game developers rarely implement all of the features of Direct X, I'd say that it will be a couple of years before you will "really need" vista.
Heck, some of the games out now are based Direct X 8 - level technology.
I am very wary of all the built-in DRM stuff in Vista as well.

The new FarCry sequel CRYSIS will be DX10.
The demo is awesome. Watch the leaves move and the details of the environment. AWESOME!

Crysis will exploit features like "dynamic day/night cycle, fully interactive environments, sunrays and diffuse transmission, real time soft shadows, soft particles, interactive/destructible environments, volumetric clouds, and advanced shader technology." Crysis is currently slated for a Q4 2006 release.
