Might be resource-hungry for the majority. Also, impossible to play on LAN with unlocks unless we can connect to the internet. I don't think it'd be much fun for long without unlocks.

I've seen a mod on Fileplanet where you can play locally with all the unlocks enabled. Didn't dig into it much, since I don't have 2142, but I'd imagine you can play on a LAN if everyone had the mod.

That's cool. Only other games I have are BF2, CS 1.6, and all of the Tribes games.. But i'd be willing to pick some up that arent brand new (If I can come down there that is.)
