(These aren't my favorites, but I'll fix that later.)

OK, DK gave me these 2 back.

Still not as bad as the ice storm from a few years back, but that is 3/4" of ice on the street. I did get some with the sun out, but (unlike the real thing) the pictures don't quite burn your eyes the same.

He went back and fixed the problem between my post and yours.

BR, those pics remind me of the spring of my freshman year of college, when we had a half-inch of freezing rain and then six inches of snow on top. Shut down the school for nearly a week... :lol

If you want to capture the "glare," you could try turning the exposure compensation up a little. If you don't have that setting, go to manual and adjust the shutter/aperture a notch or two above recommended.

I would, but its my dad's camera and I can't figure it out. (Plus it was COLD!)

2-3 years ago we had twice what this is... and that ice storm permenantly deformed hundreds of thousands of trees in the area. They all have this goofy weep to them.

*edit*
HA! We've got clear skies today and it looks like the trees are made of tinsel! I should see if I can get some good pictures.

Speaking about snow, we just got another inch or so here in Columbus Ohio. Earlier this week the weather shut down OSU because of the road conditions for a day and a half. Could use even more snow.

We're almost 2 feet behind the normal seasonal average for snow, but we've been way below the average temps for a couple months now. March is still on the way, which it typically the snowiest month in MN... So we'll see if we get enough to catch up. The lack of snow cancelled the biergriesse Sled Dog Race this year, first time it's ever happened due to lack of snow...
