Classic games remade

Came across this site the other day. It promotes remakes of classic games. Some are as faithful as possible, some are remade with a different perspective (Donkey Kong in 3d?), and some are "improved" by adding or deleting features that the authors felt were needed/stupid in the original.

I was looking at the site, but didn't see any real download links.. most of the games i've never heard of, but they look like they could be fun.

You'll see a blurb on each year's competition, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003. At the end of each blurb is a link for "reviews and results." At the end of the reviews and results page is a big list from which you can click on the name and download the game.

Do keep in mind that these are homegrown and some are basically crap, while others are completely amazing remakes.
