My CEO is out.

Come in! Have a margarita or root beer? How about some fresh trout? :)

I'm sure there will be some changes that filter through the company. So, we'll see what happens...

Oh,oh. Maybe a BIG promotion on the horizon for Mr. Gambit.

Hold out for a corner office and company car. Oh, and all the Skittles you can eat!

Seriously, how long have you worked for Citigroup?

I'd always assumed you were a co-worker of Ice.

I left that employer in 2000, worked for a telecom for a couple years, got laid off, worked for another telecom for a year, and joined Citi a little over 3 years ago. Probably should've stayed with Ice. :)

But think of it this way:

You now have a CEO who is Rubinesque. :D

And you can see what is going on in the company (a little, granted), and you can bail before CItigroup falls apart. OR cash out your stock options. :D

Oh, the company won't collapse, and they won't get rid of my division (Cards) easily; I believe it's their biggest profit center. They have a lot of debt, true, but they have a huge pile of resources as well.

Incidentally, I always choose stock instead of options when I have a choice, like I do at Citi. With the stock now trading around $35, any options I'd have been granted would be underwater.
