Oh, the company won't collapse, and they won't get rid of my division (Cards) easily; I believe it's their biggest profit center. They have a lot of debt, true, but they have a huge pile of resources as well.
Incidentally, I always choose stock instead of options when I have a choice, like I do at Citi. With the stock now trading around $35, any options I'd have been granted would be underwater.
