call of duty 4?

Anyone own it?

My dad got it for his birthday, and he's liking it so far. Just wondering if any of you have it and your opinion of it.

Don't have COD4, but I liked COD1.

Some of the guys over on SoUP have it and like it, but I think they mostly use the 360 version.

I just got it for ps3... WOW! This game is beyond what I expected... Very realistic. Great singleplayer game. A lot of objectives to take care of before you finish. Only played a couple missions but when I get back from work i'll play a few more. I think everyone should definitely check it out!

I got COD4 a while back, and it has become my numbah 1 game to play now.

Multi-player definately takes some getting used to, as it's very fast paced if you're on a server with some good players, but once you get the hang of it, you will get addicted.

I now play under the nick =GzR= Defiance, and I spend all my free time on Geezer (the clan I belong to now) servers.

idk... I guess I'm just not in to this portion of the FPS genre. It's neither arcadey nor realistic enough for me to enjoy it. It simply settles into a dull spot in the middle where if you play it like an arcade game it gets frustrating (just die too much) and if you play it like a combat sim it becomes very monotonous (if I use this cover and pick off the baddies... how many can I kill? this many --> ∞).

I enjoyed CoD and CoD2 for the MP... but quickly got bored.

Pretty nice Graphics are awsome. i just don't like have to earn points to unlock better weapons. I don't have the time to invest like some , and it sucks joining and getting toasted by people that have the better guns. Other than that pretty sweet.

Personally, I like it for the fast paced action.

It's nice to know that even when your team is losing, you'll still be having a great time.

Yeah.. I'm now a 5star General, and have all the weapons, but then, all it took was time, and not much talent.

Still have some challenges to complete.
