Finally got to meet Gambit IRL! I didn't have an urge to stuff bran-flavored socks in his mouth.... great guy.

It's been a works in progress for a while, at looks like it's happening. Most likely end of August... but could be as late as September.

Los Colinas is very nice. Lots of good restaurants up there. Housing should be MUCH cheaper than you were used to up north.

Plus no state income tax.

Actually, Texas is too easy for jokes. If I remember Dallas from the XMEN LAN, you'll only see 43 shades of brown less than in the Mojave desert / Death Valley part of California. Heh.

But it WAS good to meet you, Ath, and I'm glad you guys are moving down here. And Asha, it does get brown towards the end of summer. But it's not always as dry as when you visited, and there are (a few) real trees here. :lol
