Woohoo! Putting in an offer on a house today!
Well... we may (or may not) soon be in the homeowners club.
We're right at the limit of what we want to pay, but it's a good neighborhood. We'll see.
Then more play time (cause that's what we're buying a house for!)
And I can finally get my own business stabilized and up and running.

Well... it didn't happen. Got outbid by about 30k. There's no way we could compete against that kind of money when we started out at the higher end of our price range.
Ah well... we're no longer virgins when it comes to making offers.
We've got a good agent.... so we need to be patient (for the weather, and for folks to get their new orders).
Or maybe we'll move back over to be closer to Seattle? We're about an hour away now via a short drive and a ferry ride; or about 2+ hours around Puget Sound. I really didn't want to change jobs to another area...
And the pressure to buy a house now is self-inflicted, so I'm just venting slightly here.

Well, finally found a house.
We put an offer in on Monday, and the sellers accepted it today. Tomorrow I get to go to the inspection.
Seeing most of our savings go out the door is pretty... exciting.
Anyways, I was telling bug tonight that a house is a good thing for us. Now we can keep expanding our family.
3 boys need some younger siblings to play with.

Just finished up with the inspection. Looked very good, except for some rats, which are pretty common apparently. Just have to go in with a flamethrower or an uzi and get rid of them...
j/k The seller will have to pay someone to come out and take care of the infestation.
As for expanding the family tree... well, someone has to try and reverse the trend of the average IQ of humanity decreasing. If that means that I need to do my part, then I'll do it. And I'll enjoy doing it. As many times as necessary.
