SH, The art of war, was that that little mini book by tsu or w/e ?
O, Ya, Friday night me and my friend crashed his car... we were goinf at about 35 or so and some car in front of him had hit the brakes hard outa no where and he was lookin at a street sign on the otherside and didnt see the car stop...
I'm alright, I saw it coming and braced myself. the Toyota Tacoma we hit has a minor dent in the tailgate and bumper. We however had this 1989 Grand Marquis that he just bought for 500 bucks because few months ago he hydroplaned and flipped his 4runner and totaled it.... The Grand Marquis's right headlight is umm inside about up 2 the engine and the whole right front corner is like inside the hood... The car was made outa fiberclass and just like crumbled.... Im surprised the car we hit didnt have much dmg...
Well, now I know what it's like to go hurling backward....

Hat: I'll have to come by and pick it up sometime when things aren't so hectic. Hope you enjoyed it, I know I did.
Everyone: Well, second time's a charm, eh?
Yes, ANOTHER accident. I didn't get hit, but holy smokes, was it close.
So, there I was, taking books back to the library for Mrs. Bug. I come up on a four way and stop in the left lane. To the right of me is another car, also stopped.
Light turns green, I give the 'Dallas Intersection One-Second Pause-and-Look', see nothing hurtling at me, and gently accelerate.
HOOOONK! Dunno who honked, but he/she saved me from another wreck. I double-take to the left, see a car running the red light, and slam on the brakes. Said car whizzes just a few inches in front of my bumper. However, the car to my right doesn't stop quite in time, and gives the runner a good hard whack on it's right side.
At this point, I figure I'm going to need to stick around, but pull through the intersection so as to not block both lanes of traffic. Since I had to make a U-turn anyway and the drop-off was a hundred feet away, I dumped the library books and found a parking spot, then walk to the intersection.
Nobody appears to be hurt, so I whoop on over and see what's up. Both cars still there, two guys standing outside the one that was to my right (Car A). One of 'em leaves his name and number with the driver of A and heads out, the other guy stays.
The other guy, as it turns out, was in the crosswalk and came within a hair's breadth of getting splattered. Both of us check with both drivers to see if they're OK, then have them pull out of the intersection while we wait for the cops.
Cop gets there, starts taking accounts. Driver A tells it like it is (light was green). Red-Light Runner says 'light was yellow'. Me and the other guy tell the cop it was green, and furthermore, the other guy was halfway through the crosswalk, so it had been green for a couple-three seconds.
Methinks Red-Light Runner is going to get some serious fines and tickets. I'm just thankful that our other car didn't get wrecked too!
Mrs. Bug has henceforce set down a week-long moratorium on me running errands for her. Tomorrow I stay home, rake leaves, and fix shelving. I will not be leaving the house unless I get the job I've been aiming for and they want me to come in that day.
