I specialize primarily in flag capping and returns. This morning I played with BEML_Skiptracer and a couple MA guys, which was a blast.<br><br>Just a tip, if you use light armor, you really should try to utilize the grappler. It is an amazing tool... I've found the rocket pod to only really be effective vs stationary targets. Its a little hard to track mobile people or vehicles. But that is just me.<br><br>1)Grappler is very fun, yet hard for me to get the hang of.<br>2)Chain gun, still iffy I dont like how it slows down the more you hold your trigger. <br>3)Blaster, kinda on the weird modern/ tech side... Used to little balls of pain, now the shotgun style is kinda new/ different. <br>4)Grenade Launcher... doesn't have a long enough range on it. <br>5)Disc Launcher of course is always fun.<br>6) Mortar... ditto. The range ret on it and the Nade launcher are utterly useless.<br>7)Buckler, never used one.<br><!--EZCODE EMOTICON START 8) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/glasses.gif ALT="8)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> Electro Blade... whatever its called. I use it to entertain myself on HO routes to and from the bases, about it.<br>9) Burner, niffty little gaget... except I always end up hitting myself when I HO...<br>10) Anything I missed?<br>11) Sniper Rifle... used it once, didn't care much for it. But then I'm not a stationary player.<br>12) Now anything else?<br><br>Vehicles<br>13) Pod from hell... I think is very over powerful. I mean it shoots close to rockets or missles that never runs out of ammo and can sit relatively high enough to stay out of most weapon ranges and unload on those below. And they semi-track... wow.<br>14) Tank... who wants a tank that can jump? Weird...<br>15) That huge ass flying whatever it is... reminds me of a vehicle out of Star Wars : Episode 2.<br>16) Mobile Spawn Unit. Cool idea, but you crash your system if you spawn using it while it is being blown up.<br><br>I miss anything? And thank you for reading WC's review on T:V. WC, I generally feel like you do about the rocket weapon, and therefore don't usually buy it. However, last night I used a loadout I don't normally, and had the rockets, and MA'd two people dead in a 10- or 15-second span. One I could have written off as luck, but two in a row isn't so easy. I'm not saying I'm that good (I'll still credit luck for THAT), I'm just saying that the weapon is capable with some practice.<br><br>The pod won't be near so fearsome when the sniper rifles get fixed. I'm gonna disagree with ya on the mortar and grenade reticles, WC. They stumped me at first, then I figured out how to make use of them. I no longer think of them as 'line x is y distance shot', but rather 'line x is y <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>angle</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> shot'.<br><br>Once I did that, they got much, much easier to use for me. I've already bagged a couple of cappers at max range with 'em. I'm really happy with the handling on the mortar too, it's much more like T1's mortar, and I'm hoping I'll be able to return to my days of tossing them straight into the middle of a brawl without harming my teammates as I used to do in T1. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br><br>As an aside, the rets are useful for landmark reference in a fuzzy sense. Watch out, when Bug gets used to Mortars, there will be hardly any capping on us.....<br><br>I have been mainly playing lights.....The grappler I must get used to, I will find more uses for it as the game progresses.<br><br>I still do not believe I have used all weapons and vehicles yet....<br><br>The game is alot LOUDER though....tons of explosions going off....Maybe I should turn those down....but I like to hear them near me if I am getting chased......<br><br> <p><!--EZCODE IMAGE START--><img src="http://members.cox.net/ccraig3/itiman6.jpg" style="border:0;"/><!--EZCODE IMAGE END--></p><i></i>

The grappler is really great once you master the range (it only extends so far). I have been working non stop on capping routes for the four released maps and so far here are the things I have leared.<br><br>(this is with a Spinfuser/Grenade Launcher/Grappler/Energy Pack/Light Armor loadout)<br><br>1.) In capping, It seems there are three requirements. Your skill as a capper and your route are important, but it seems your ability to hold a flag against multiple enemies is what counts here, especially during a long stalemate. <br>2.) In route creation, I have followed a few rules in order. Speed, Efficiency, Creativity. Speed is the most important, followed by how efficient the run is in all situations (hit/miss ratio), and finally how creative the run is (bungee effects with grappler etc). <br>3.) Grappler tips. Use the bungee effect as much as possible. When you plan to grapple a target that you are moving towards, for instance the side of a building to your left, fly to the right before firing. Retract liberally on long distance shots to help with your acceleration on turns. Practice makes perfect.<br>4.) Use voice taunts frequently to intimidate your enemy.
