Anybody see Hitchhiker's Guide?

Nobody's posted any reactions... I saw it on opening day, so its not too fresh in my memory, but I was pleasantly surprised. Nothing memorable, but I was expecting it to be a big flop. (never looked at the $$$ #'s) There was much changed from the books and they kinda dropped the main plot (the ultimate question).

I also wonder if anyone noticed Marvin from the old TV mini-series standing in the queue.

Never saw the old series. Didn't see this movie either, since I was saving "movie day" for Episode III.

I thought Alan Richman(?) as the voice of Marvin was an excellent choice, though.

Saw it, laughed my ass off and then promptly read the books, and laughed even more.
