Has XP always had an auto time sync?

Come in! Have a margarita or root beer? How about some fresh trout? :)

Has XP always had an auto time sync?

I just noticed this last week and now wonder how long its been like that. I actually frequently used the Date & Time dialog to have a looksee at the calendar... I'm just surprised I didn't notice it earlier.

I have known about it for a couple of years but currently having a problem with the site its updating from. I had to disable it because it kept changing the time back to by 3 hours ahead or behind.

The auto time synch has always been a feature in XP. If you're using Time.windows.com you can change it to use time.nist.gov. If your time keeps synching wrong, doublecheck your timezone you have selected.

The time zone is right. I did a manual time update and it says an error had accured. So I guess my compus has a firewall blocking such internet transmissions.
