I watched the trailer. Those suits look a lot like the suits in T3:V. The music sounds like T2 music. The map is what the T2 map wanted to be.

I think there's been some influence there. Not that it's a bad thing.

Looks cool. I never cared for the "comic book" look. Seems like an excuse for the developer to skip out on building good texture models.

No, there's a lot of tecture modeling going on there, it's just a different style. It's not for everyone, but I enjoyed Borderlands, especially the look of it.
