I bought a remote-controlled airplane, and tried to fly it around a little. The clearing I was using (the biggest at the campground) wasn't really big enough, though, and it got stuck once in a tall tree. Me too. But it's HARD. Tape fixed those. I need to adjust the control lines (monofilament) on the tail, and I may have broken the (replaceable) tail mountings when I rescued it from the tree. I've seen mature live oaks. I think the trees just get bigger in western washington. Those douglas firs can get up to (and over) 100 ft. Though we usually don't have trees that are so spread out...<br><br><br>Why couldn't you avoid a tree that spread out, Gambit? You'd think you'd see it...<br> <p></p><i></i>

I didn't say the trees were bigger in Texas than in Washington, I would be surprised if they were, in fact. I just said, we do have tall trees.
