FYI -<br><br>The google text advertising program that has kept our forums otherwise ad-free for the last year has been terminated. Translation: we can cough up some bucks (not right away) to avoid the ads or we can live with EZBoard advertising.<br><br>Or we can move off of EZBoard all together. The site hosting the XMENCLAN.ORG site has database and PHP capability, so we do have that option.<br><br>We have some time to consider; we have some time left on our paid subscription from before the google ads. I think we should run vBulletin on the xmenclan.org site. There is migration, however you have to request vBulletin to do it for you. Even then, it does not move the user database, just the posts for posterity sake.<br><br>phpBB on the other hand does have a downloadable converter which you can run on your own. If I can set my board up, I think most anyone can do it.
