Outlook Express Loading Slow

Maybe someone here can help me. All of a sudden Outlook Express is taking it's own sweet time to load. You click on the shortcut for it and that blue screen that says "outlook express" pops up but then it sits there for about a minute before the actual program loads. I was told to upgrade IE and see if that helped but it didn't. Any other suggestions? hmm.. It might be that your database (stored emails) has gotten to big. No, those folders are the ones I was talking about. In Outlook Express, go to tools->options->maintenance, Clean Up Now, and Compact. OK we are running on windows XP and have 3 user accounts. Outlook is only running slow on one of the accounts. It's only running slow on ONE account? Are any of the other accounts with the same provider? Ya they are all the same provider. I just set up the second user yesterday and tested outlook there and it worked fine.
