This game has been my latest addiction. (Bad timing too... right before school starts again.) I'm not quite sure what to call this game... but I'm leaning more towards action game than a sim... Its a combined arms FPS... you get inf, cars, trucks, tanks, APCs, helos, planes, and even some boats! Also you get command of up to 12 other soldiers (meaning only 4 tanks @ 3 men per tank)... but if you don't like your tank or it gets disabled... bail out and fight on foot. (sure crews are lightly armed by default... but you can change that as you gain rank)<br><br>All sorts of neat toys and wide open spaces... in some maps (especially some of the custom ones) you're fighting alongside and against hundreds of troops.<br><br>And if you find some of the graphics kinda dated, you can buy the "Resistance" addon... it comes with improved graphics that will bring most systems down to their knees... (ok, so I'm only running on a 1ghz p3, 512MB RAM, and GF2 (GF4 keeps overheating, so I'm on this until I fix the GF4 problem) so my computer is kinda average now... but I couldn't even get the new graphics to 1/2 their max... I'm gonna have to try w/ my GF4 and see if that makes a difference)<br><br>but... in short... I must say I bought it when it first came out and played all the way though, I'm on a p3 600 256 megs of ram so graphics for me were limited, but still the game ran great so you don't need the fastest computer to play the game. <p></p><i></i>
