I am glad that some car designers are trying make serious changes to the looks of modern vehicles. I'm not sure that I like very many of the alternatives presented so far. Looks alone would not keep me from owning one of these, however. I'm actually day dreaming more along the lines of the new US version of the <a href="http://www.edmunds.com/future/2005/lotu ... ent.num3.0.*" target="top">Lotus Elise!</a> (most of the cars I day dream about have zero practicality :P) COLORS!

I wish to own one someday... but if I god every car I've ever wished for I'd need at least a 200 car garage. On a side note: I'd love to know how much it would cost to import one of these: <a href="http://www.mr2-spider.co.uk/pictures.html" target="top">CLICK</a> *edit* oh, and realistically, the cars I MUST get my hands on before I die: (in order) #1. '64-67 MGB #2. SCCA Formula Ford or Formula Vee car #3. '98 MR2 Spider (fewer than 100 made and fewer than 5 left Japan) I think that's it... anything else would just be 'nice'. hrmm... I think the C6 is a step ahead of the C5, but in terms of styling I don't think much can match the C3. :P My neighbor has a C2 Stingray... it's nice, but I much preferred my dad's old C3 convertible. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> I think the new mustangs look kinda 'snub-nose'. The front end looks out of place given the rest of the body styling... too short. Ford GT is $150k or so... I'm not too worried about weather I like it or not. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> and that eclipse reminds me of a Bugatti Veyron made front engine and looking less like an on-coming train :P <img src="http://www.maxspeed.it/manifestazioni/s ... yron.2.jpg" style="border:0;"/> Just look at that and try to think diesel locomotive. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> COLORS!

Ha! I hadn't seen the front of the new mustang yet. The rear looks very retro, and I like it. But the front looks almost like a BMW sedan! Where's that Mustang overhang? The GT has impressive specs and nice lines, but I'm reserving my opinion. The C6 smacks the C5. Definitely. But I liked the long-nosed corvettes, not sure which version that was.

Yup. I like both that one and the previous one (I think). I think it's the wavy look of the whole car I like, especially over those front wheels.

It's one of the nicest cars I've seen, and hands down the best revival of a classic ever created. Don't much care for the new 'Vette. They're made more for speed, handling, and power.
